Theindependentvariableswere(Bentonite; X1), (Polymer; X2), (SodiumCarbonate, X3) and(AgingTime; X4). Therheological properties ofinterest,whichformstheresponsevariables,were selected basedontheAPIspecification 13-Afordrillinggrade bentonite.Theoutcomesshowthatthesecond-orderstatistical models derivedfromresponses fitted wellwiththeexperimental results.
