This article consists of datasets for five(5)traverses of 2Delec-trical resistivity imaging(ERI)collected in Abeokuta, southwesternNigeria. ABEMT errameter(SAS1000/4000)system and dipole-dipole array were used for the data collection .RES2DINV compu-ter program was used to invert the observe dapparent resistivity data to obtain 2Dinvers emodel images of resistivity distribution of the subsurface. The 2Dresistivity images were used to char-acterise the subsurface and delineate the crystall in ebasement features of hydrological importance in the area.
