EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The United States Agency for International Development Mission to Nigeria contracted with GHTech to provide a team of five experts to examine three of the Family Planning/Reproductive health projects that they have been supporting in Nigeria. This is one of a series of evaluations that are being conducted to provide guidance to the Mission as it implements new projects and develops its 2009-2014 strategy. In this summary, we will not focus so much on our assessments of the individual projects—which provide many comments and recommendations—but rather on the major issues that must be addressed in the next five years.
