This work investigated the effect of cone inclination on the performance of cylindrical-conical tangential entry cyclone separator using four different cyclone models. Efficiency determination was achieved by weight difference between the dust loaded and the dust retained while velocity was measured with a pitot tube. Correlation coefficient values ranged between 0.83-0.97, indicating positive correlation. In all cases, efficiency attained highest and least values at 11o and 2o respectively. The optimum cyclone design observed was the 2D2D model.
